Ministry of Mothers Sharing (MOMS) has started again at my parish, St. Margaret Mary here in Winter Park. I am so happy that I am facilitating with two of my wonderful friends, Kelly and Kim. I know we will have a wonderful time together during this 8 week process.
Last night we were sharing in our group a bit about how God’s grace helps us through life, and I told the story about our beautiful Maureen. I sobbed, of course. Like that uncontrollable, helpless, blubbering type of sob.
Anyway, I was telling these special women about how God intervened in my life in January of 2009 and sent me to Phoenix. It was time for the annual Imaging USA convention for Professional Photographers of America and for the first time, I decided to go. God sent me photograph my cousin Maureen who was battling ovarian cancer. She fought for a very long time, but God welcomed her into his arms in June of 2009.
